about me
My name is Elena Fisher, and I’m a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Media Production with a concentration in Integrative Media and a minor in Journalism. I grew up at the Jersey Shore and developed a passion for producing media at a young age. Before college, I was trained in TV production, where I learned to use Adobe Creative Cloud, video editing software, professional camera equipment, green screens, and podcast production.
During college, I expanded my skills in sound design, audio editing, Photoshop and graphic design, VR game design using Unity, photojournalism, and video production. I have experience across many areas of production, including videography, editing, producing, color grading, and sound design and enjoy working on all aspects of the creative process.
I’m currently seeking full-time or freelance opportunities after graduation. I’m especially interested in working in the reality television industry, collaborating with production companies, contributing to music video production, and exploring film festival distribution. As I complete my Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2026, I’m excited to begin building my career in these areas.
Outside of my passion for production, I enjoy watercolor painting and photography. I hope to bring my creative perspective and high energy to future projects, and to make a meaningful impact in the film, television, and music industries. <3
Elena Fisher is a filmmaker from New Jersey who can do it all. With her first time directing and producing a narrative short, she also has experience in documentary, photography, audio production, and comedy reality television shorts. Her work explores themes of duality of femininity, contrast, and cinematic artistry. She has collaborated with women filmmakers across Colorado on a documentary highlighting underrepresented voices, done freelance work with women entrepreneurs, and interned with the Boulder County Film Commission supporting outreach and research for Sundance Film Festival relocation efforts. She aims to become a television and reality producer while continuing to create.
